R & J Shaper Surf factory started life as a snapped surfboard of a guy from England (James) and a look of horror of a local surfboard repair guy (Rasika), who had rented it to him.
Then after the board was expertly repaired, they talked and the idea of owning our own shop was born.
Together they built their repair shop in Midigama and started on a exciting journey to where we are today.
Along the way we hired and trained a couple of great guys who are now like family.
R and J Shaper is truly a family business with Rasika’s boys also learning the trade.
